
I should further expand on this as I have just retired from the tech support arm of a multinational tech firm and my son is the IT leader for a major UK charity so no lack of expertise on our behalf.

As for getting it working, here comes the caveat - between my son and I we have Ipads, tablets and laptops including MS Surface out of 5 machines we could only get system wireless integration with one of these. Whilst undoubtedly a very clever future leaning tool the limitations to integration do not become clear until after you buy it.

when we finally got it working (see below) He cracked the building and coding quite quickly and then lost interest as its integration into his wider Lego passion was not as an exciting proposition as we had hoped. Bought one of these for my Grandson aged 7.
